UCaaS — Unified Communications as a Service
Business communications without the PBX complexity
EaseDial UCaaS delivers everything a business phone system needs — calling, extensions, voicemail, video meetings, messaging, and SMS — through the cloud. No servers, no hardware, no separate tools for each channel.
Platform
What EaseDial UCaaS includes
Every team member gets a cloud extension. All communication channels — voice, video, messaging, SMS — are managed from one admin portal and one login.
Cloud Business Phone
Every employee gets a cloud extension — local, toll-free, or international numbers, voicemail, call forwarding, and a softphone that works on any device.
Auto Attendant & IVR
Automated greetings and call menus route callers to the right person or department without a receptionist. Configurable by time of day and day of week.
Business SMS & MMS
Send and receive text messages from your business numbers. Customer replies and team messages land in the same workspace as your calls.
Video Meetings
Browser-based video conferencing with screen sharing, recording, and transcription — included in the platform without a separate video subscription.
Team Messaging
Internal messaging keeps your team connected in the same environment as calls and contacts. No separate chat app or login required.
Call Recording
Record calls on demand or automatically. Recordings are stored centrally and paired with AI transcription — searchable by keyword.
Business Hours Rules
Route calls differently based on time of day, day of week, or holiday schedules. After-hours calls go to voicemail, a fallback number, or an auto-attendant message.
Admin & User Management
Add and remove users, assign numbers, configure call routing rules, and review usage — from one web-based admin portal.
Consolidation
One workspace for the whole team
Most businesses run their phone system, video conferencing, and messaging as separate tools with separate logins and separate bills. UCaaS consolidates them. EaseDial routes a call, a video meeting, and a text message through the same infrastructure, managed from the same admin panel.
For distributed teams, this removes the friction of coordinating across tools. An agent on a call can switch to video with the same customer. A manager can review a voicemail transcript without logging into a separate system. Extensions work from any device, from any network.
Fit
Who EaseDial UCaaS is for
UCaaS fits any organization that wants to move business communications to the cloud — but it particularly suits teams that are distributed, growing quickly, or replacing aging on-premises phone infrastructure.
- SMBs replacing a legacy PBX or hosted system
- Distributed and remote teams needing a phone system with no location dependency
- Sales teams that need calling, SMS, and contact history in one place
- Customer support teams handling inbound calls alongside a contact center operation
- Multi-location businesses that want one phone system across all offices
UCaaS + CCaaS
Internal phone and contact center on one platform
Most businesses that handle customer calls run their internal phone system on one vendor and their contact center on another. These systems need to talk to each other — and integration is where complexity, cost, and reliability problems tend to live.
EaseDial provides both on the same infrastructure. When a contact center agent needs to pull in a specialist, the transfer goes through the same platform — no bridging, no separate dial plan. Supervisors see both internal extensions and contact center queues in the same dashboard.

UCaaS FAQs
What does UCaaS include?
UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service) combines cloud business phone, video conferencing, team messaging, and SMS into one cloud-delivered platform. EaseDial UCaaS includes calling, extensions, voicemail, auto attendant, business SMS, video meetings, and team messaging — managed from a single admin portal.
Does EaseDial UCaaS work without desk phones or hardware?
Yes. EaseDial operates as a softphone — calls are placed and received through a browser or app rather than a physical device. Desk phones that support SIP can also be connected if preferred, but they are not required.
Can I bring my existing business phone numbers?
Number porting transfers your existing numbers to EaseDial. The process typically takes 1–2 weeks depending on the current carrier. Your numbers remain active on the existing carrier during the porting process.
How is UCaaS different from a traditional PBX?
A traditional PBX is on-premises hardware that you own, maintain, and upgrade. UCaaS delivers the same functionality — extensions, call routing, voicemail, conferencing — through the cloud. There is no server room, no hardware refresh cycle, and no IT team needed to maintain the phone system.
Can EaseDial UCaaS connect with a contact center?
Yes. EaseDial brings UCaaS and CCaaS together on the same platform. Business phone extensions and contact center queues share the same infrastructure, so routing calls between internal teams and customer-facing agents does not require a separate integration.
